The alliance includes joint sales & marketing initiatives, interoperability and compatibility testing, development roadmap coordination, and the exchange of support, tools and training.

iPass is first to market in delivering secure, global remote Internet connectivity through multiple devices including notebooks, PDAs and desktops. The iPassConnect PDA for Palm OS® and iPassConnect PDA for the Microsoft Windows-powered Pocket PC and other Windows-powered mobile devices gives remote users access to the Internet and enterprise resources from their handheld device using iPass' global network of over 10,000 points of presence (POPs) in 150 countries worldwide. Certicom's movianVPN™ is a broadly interoperable VPN client for handheld devices that implements IPSec/ IKE protocols for establishing a secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to encrypt all traffic between the device and the corporate gateway.
