W32/Brepbot.A
A Trojan known as W32/Brepbot.A being spammed heavily on the Internet. The subject and the content of the email are about important breaking news, user community may think it as a genuine email.
This email is about the news of "Osama Bin Laden being hanged" and discoverd by two journalists of CNN. To convince the user the spoofed from email address will be cnn.com. The name of the attachment may contain the words 'Article' or 'Photo'. The content of the email entices the user to click on the attachment to view the photo. The system will be compromised on execution of the trojan.
Users are advised to be cautious while handling any email attachment. You are advised to download the latest update of Protector Plus to protect against this trojan.
